Patchworkers' Group

The Patchwork Club has had a very productive and eventful 2011, finishing with over 100 members who receive newsletters and club benefits such as the use of a well-stocked Library.  Heartfelt thanks and appreciation is extended to many people and clubs who contributed to the restoration of the Club Library after the devastating January floods.  We have been back meeting in the Vision Christian Family church hall at 58 Gledson Street North Booval since June, and the evening and day meetings have been well attended.  The ladies continued to enjoy chatting, laughing, sewing, and a variety of other crafts such as knitting and crochet. 
The final gathering for the year 2011 took place with a Christmas Party on 8th December.  Now the Club will be in recess until Wednesday evening 1st February at 7p.m., and Thursday 2nd February at 9a.m.   Newcomers are welcome at all meetings.
